Opportunity to Expand Knowledge!!

Being in an administration role working in the Midland region does not always mean sitting in an office all day long five days a week. A regional role provides you with the opportunity to meet others within the region from all walks of life building networks, connecting with diverse personalities, working styles and much more.

Knowledge is a never ending opportunity, however the right knowledge can be imperative when the right skills and techniques are applied. This is what I found out when attending the Office & PA show held in Auckland on the 19 & 20 September.


The event setup had the 'wow factor' with well recognised New Zealanders sharing the Master of Ceremony role, Dominic Bowden & Antonia Prebble both known for their talent on television.

Over 70+ exhibitors from accommodation, stationery to coffee and team building adventures from across New Zealand were setup to share their product and services, the two day event did not seem long enough to get through everything.

Two international keynote speakers were invited to present Zelda la Grange, former PA to President Nelson Mandela and Libby Moore, former EA and Chief of Staff to Oprah Winfrey alongside Cecilia Robinson, Founder & Co-CEO to "My Food Bag" and Claire Turnbull a Nutritionist & Wellness Expert.

There were 36 seminars to pick from and this was not an easy choice seeing the maximum to choose from was 12 seminars which included 'time & priority management' to 'dealing with difficult personalities' and 'business report writing tips'.

This event is highly recommend to all Administrators, PAs, EAs, Office Managers or anyone wanting to gain further knowledge, some of the workshops are not limited to admin staff.
