We support mental health promotion is something of great value:

Whāia te iti kahurangi! Strive for something of great value!
A Whakatohea whakataukī: Whāia te iti kahurangi, ki te tuohu koe, me he maunga teitei.

Seek the treasure that you value most dearly, if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.

There has been an abundance of learning and growth for 2018 in which we look forward to celebrating these achievements in this end of year season to be happy. The constructs of knowledge that deliver education to support workforce development and experience has been a valued challenge as professionals maintain an openness to ways of supporting whãnau in Mental.Health and Addiction. The kete of knowledge that come into seeds of growth through each practitioner who have embarked on professional development for service range from our innate knowledge within our environment such as Whakatohea Marae tikanga, kawa, Mãori identity, mahi wairua and indigenous approaches through to parallel understandings of qualifications in Health Science , Alcohol and Drug Education, Supervision , Counselling, Co Existing Practice and Social Justice . We are very proud of the accomplishments this year and look forward to integrating delivery upon the growth to our whãnau in need.
