Consumer Competency Framework Project
(COMPLETED)
The purpose of this project is to:
- Develop a service user and peer support competency framework
- Provide a Midland perspective to the Tri-party project with Te Pou, Northern Alliance and Midland Share Services
- Gain endorsement from the Midland DHBs to the developed framework
- Feed into the MoH Service Development plan strategies

Family Whãnau Competency Framework Project

The purpose of this project is to:
- Develop a family whanau worker competency framework
- Provide a Midland perspective to the Mental Health Commission
- Gain endorsement from the Midland DHBs to the developed framework
- Feed into the MoH Service Development plan strategies

Infant & Maternal Stocktake of Secondary Services Project Phase I
(COMPLETED)
The purpose of this project is to undertake a stocktake of secondary Infant and Maternal mental health and addiction services across the region. The Ministry of Health Service Development Plan: Rising to the Challenge 2012 identifies Infant and Maternal as a priority going forward.
The objectives of the project are to:
- Identify how Healthy Beginnings are being implemented across the region

Identify how we ensure that there are options to provide care that are clinically appropriate in a setting that does not require compulsory separation of mother and baby.
- Identify what the current local and regional care options are.
This project will be led by Roz Sorensen
